My favorite spot on this island was found, all thanks to our neighbor Joe.
He gave my friends, Erin and Aimee, and I directions to a "pretty lagoon"in Onna, and we were determined to find it.

We set off one morning to eat at a beautiful place called Do ka Do ka.
The view, and the pizza, are what makes this place amazing.

After lunch, we drove around for what seemed like an hour trying to find the lagoon. Just as we were about to give up we found a turn we remembered Joe talking about. We turned down the road and ended up in fields, in the middle of no where.

BUT WE FOUND IT!

Apparently, it is a great dive spot because some divers were putting on their gear and we asked them if this was the Onna Lagoon.. and sure enough it was just beyond this Habu Alley.

This may not look like a big cave - but inside was big enough for all of us to float and swim in during high tide.

Thank you Joe for giving us the directions to this Okinawa wonder!
And Erin for some of these fun pictures I totally stole from you ;]
