To back track a little - we got to Okinawa last fall/winter (Sean in September and I in December). In our first few weeks we met some great people, explored the island a little, and met our first great friends - our neighbors!
Our first adventure out in Okinawa turned into a little Sunday drive up north.
We drove until we ended up in a rice patty field, then turned around and found this beautiful place.
Our second adventure together, we went down south to Naha!
Sean wanted to show me Kokusai Street. What an interesting - "Touristy" place. These pictures do not do it justice. Kokusai street has plenty of unique shops and delicious places to eat.
Oh ya! It also has a fresh meat and fresh fish market.
